According to Bloody-Disgusting, Oscar winner Robert De Niro, Superbad's Jonah Hill, and Fast & Furious's Michelle Rodriguez are poised to join Danny Trejo in the film. De Niro will reportedly play the corrupt Senator McLaughlin, the adversary of the blade-wielding ex-Federale Machete (once again played by Trejo, who co-starred with De Niro in Heat).
